Template:CharacterRichard Watterson is the father of Gumball and Anais, adoptive father of Darwin, and husband to Nicole. He is an overweight pink rabbit who has no job. He is the same pink color as Anais. He doesn't seem to possess any degree of responsibility.
Personality
Richard is the kind of person who is very lazy and unwilling to do things, even for the simplest task. He stays at home and spends most of his time playing video games or watching television. He has a large appetite and is a very voracious eater.
Richard, like his son Gumball, occasionally does not wear any pants. He is very childish and somewhat stubborn, a fact which Nicole and Anais point out frequently. He has a very childish sort of stupidity, just like Gumball and Darwin. Despite all of this, he may have a little bit of responsibility lying in him somewhere as he loves his wife, his sons, and his daughter. He seems to be somewhat irresponsible of his actions/decisions. An example of him being irresponsible would be in The Spoon when he sent Gumball and Darwin downtown to a gas station at night without his supervision.
